We are grateful to have within our Parish the Bereavement/Grief and Loss Ministry made up of
dedicated and compassionate parishioners.

Robyn Radomski is the Bereavement Ministry Team Co-ordinator over our three communities.

Parishioners are invited to let us know of parishioners from St Francis of Assisi Parish who have lost loved ones.

In October we meet to organise the Remembrance Mass which is held in November where the bereaved are invited to light a small candle and present a flower to remember their loved ones. 

Families are contacted and invited to take part in the Readings, Prayers of the Faithful, Offertory, Altar Servers and Ministers of the Eucharist.  A member of the Music Ministry leads us in the singing. A light supper is provided after the Mass 

Sympathy cards are sent out as are 1st year Anniversary cards throughout the year and a personal invitation to the Remembrance Mass to bereaved parishioners.
